Three months is not a big wait but some other manufacturers like Xiaomi, OnePlus and Oppo have managed to offer Android 11 just a few days after the official debut of Google. One of the reasons why Samsung updates take longer is the custom operating system interface.
One UI 3.0 brings mostly visual refinements to the existing Samsung smartphone interface. Menus and widgets are already presented with a transparent background. Animations need to be faster, the volume menu has been redesigned, and the camera autofocus needs to be faster.
